Property Index — a Great Intercontinental Assets Forum

Posted in Hall Of Travel

Property Index is an online platform that gives buyers access to thousands of properties www.propertyindex.com. Property in Italy is currently booming so browse the range on offer at Property Index.

Notwithstanding the fact that the Property Index service is really a young establishment, they were founded only in March of 2007, they have established expert status very quickly. They’re a rather hassle-free establishment entirely concentrated on advising every client striving to let, sell etc. real estate across the globe. What they affirm is to aid you locate dead-on what’s looked for quick and, of course, sans hassle. Estate is in most popular areas of the world these days, undoubtedly the most called for area being properties available in Italy. It should really be fairly easy to tally the great real estate available in Italy, the explanation for looking into properties here is a combination of the houses and apartments for sale and the great opportunity of being able to live right amid this vigorous and animated populace.

It is one of the truly fashionable countries these days, and in view of the lovely landscape and the wonderful weather surrounding you, how could you conceivably be wrong! Estate in Italy is steeped in history, this realm of the world has always been home to a good many indigenous cultures. Some 25-30 years back you would find merely a dribble of Englishmen in search of real estate in Italy. Just ask any one single person who has chosen to move to Italy and they’ll tell you the same thing. Most people would are tagging it a fairly insignificant fashion and others are tagging it a that’s nearly a fetish… Clients intent on moving here will typically range from young urban professionals in search of a challenge to older shoppers who want to put their feet up.

Note, however, that you may hit on a few hindrances when trying to purchase real estate abroad: you’ll have to cope with a hundred actions whether organizing, touring or buying and completing. If you miss out on a single minute procedure it is certain to easily generate great hindrances and, critically, a failed investment. Obviously and expectably with this well-liked destination, real estate may well be dear in this area and this, of course, is naturally a consequence of the growing buyer demand. Nonetheless the buyer is really somewhat spoilt in such a region characterized by pleasant terrain and vista. Really it’s got the whole shebang you may conceivably wish for etc.

The Definition of Spam

Spam can bring down your website faster than a speeding bullet, but what is spam? Originally, spam referred to unwanted emails. We all hate the tons of email we receive day after day trying to get us to buy that or click this. I can’t go a day without someone trying to steal my personal information so they can get into my bank account. Does everyone else get the fake paypal emails? They look just like paypal emails, but usually if you look at the links they have ip numbers instead of paypal.com in the address. Obviously, letters from Nigeria, fake paypal emails, and the host of other either crooked or just plain annoying emails can clearly be defined as spam. Of course, email newsletters that have been subscribed to are wanted and would not be spam. I love getting my daily webmaster newsletters. They are great for helping me stay on top of what is going on in the website development world.

Another type of spam, that believe it or not webmasters still employ, is hidden text. This is obviously a bad idea. Google’s guidelines clearly state “Avoid hidden text or hidden links”. Now to be fair sometimes it’s hard to keep all hidden links off of your site if you are using Microsoft FrontPage or other similar editors. The newer 2003 version of FrontPage incorporates the split screen, which makes getting rid of hidden text much easier. The older versions tend to leave hidden links behind in the HTML code after you delete the text. I have recently found tons of hidden text links everywhere on my sites. So, if you have this problem I can feel your pain.

Everything that is a bad SEO practice isn’t necessarily spam. Just because Google changes it’s algorithm tomorrow doesn’t mean all practices banned were actually spam. Sometimes, I feel that many webmasters let search engines dictate what they call spam. For example, linking to your own site from another one of your sites. Is that spam? Some might say you are attempting to alter search engine results and thus you are a spammer. I do have the right to advertise my sites or other sites on my own website, after all. Currently, from other webmaster articles and from what I’ve seen personally, if your link text is the same everywhere then Google will not allow you those keywords. This has put an end to the Google bomb, but it’s unfortunate side effect is the penalization of webmasters adding a link to their own sites from another site. For example, say I have a site about TV DVDs and another one featuring a entertainment blog. It’s very simple to enter a link one time into a text file using an ssi include or other similar method that might say “Entertainment Blog” linking back to my blog site. This example populates all my sites at once and thus now I’ve given everybody interested in my DVD site a little ad to my blog site. Google might penalize the blog site, and so you lose hits from Google. Thankfully, so far Yahoo hasn’t taken this step. I guess we could blame the guys who started the Google bombing, but I for one disagree with Google on their method. My only choice in linking back to myself now is to forget adding a standard link in the menu, and put a link back to the blog site one page at a time with different link text and perhaps linking to different pages within the blog site.

Now pop-ups to me go into the category of spam. Anything that is not asked for by the visitor, like a pop-up or email should definitely be classified as spam. Of course, there aren’t any penalties for pop-ups from search engines.

Google apparently is targeting affiliate sites now as well. On one hand, I don’t blame Google for not wanting exact duplicates in their search results, but their basic rules should still apply. Taking out a site just because it has affiliate links is really not a fair practice. Someone who takes months and perhaps even years of their time to create, maintain, and promote a site, deserves to make money just as much as the big dogs, as long as they are not using deceptive practices. Which brings me back to the main point. What is the definition of spam? Certainly, trying to earn a honest dollar on the net by offering affiliate links shouldn’t be considered spam. But sites trying to promote one set of keywords and offer something else on their page should be considered spammers. It’s the unwanted promotion tactics and deceptive practices that are now and will always be true spam. Is it spam to offer a rearrangement of Amazon’s products? No, not if your title tag says books, and I find books on your page.

7 Ways to Dramatically Increase Your Email Marketing Profitability

1. Leave Them Wanting More

When constructing your sales letter, try to make it carry over to multiple pages. Create the impression of added value by ending each page with a question or a phrase that makes the visitor have to go to your next page. Something as simple as, “To see the 7 exciting bonuses that come with every package…” You get the idea. Each page adds to the perceived value of the product. Leave them wanting more at the end of every page.

2. Use The Power of Seven

When choosing a price point for your product, studies have shown that prices ending with a number 7 (specifically in the dollar amount) sell more. In other words, set your price at $27.95, $47.95, $87.95 etc. Want evidence? Just look at any major marketing site online and see how they price. The number 7 has been proven to be the most appealing number.

3. Here’s A Great Traffic Generator

Place a free news ticker on your web site. Having fresh content makes your site much more important in the eyes of Search Engines. You can choose a topic relevant to your web site. Check out http://www.7am.com/ticker/ and get a free news ticker today.

4. How To Increase Your Credibility

Would you believe something as simple as your handwritten signature on your site can make a big difference in how you are perceived? Scan your signature, edit it into a web graphic and use it on your page in the signature/guarantee area. When someone sees your guarantee combined with your signature, it increases your credibility by leaps and bounds.

5. The Beauty of Simplicity

Use short, to-the-point sentences in your sales letter. Keep your words simple. Remember, you are not teaching an English or vocabulary class. The simpler and easier to read, the better.

6. Use a Secure Server for Orders

Make sure you are using a secure server for credit card transactions. I’ve seen too many sites accepting credit cards on a non-secure page, and while this doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a problem, it is perception that counts. Convincing people that it is safe to purchase online is an ongoing battle; don’t make it any harder than it has to be.

7. Don’t Forget the Power of a P.S.

Did you know that most people look directly at the end of a letter first? (Don’t you?) We all look to see who it is from, how they sign off, and what the P.S. is about. So don’t miss the opportunity - include a P.S. in your sales letters that restates your main offer and benefits.

Well, these ideas have been used by many successful internet marketers to increase the profitability of their email marketing. I hope they prove to be beneficial to you as well.

Cheap Gaming Notebooks Probably on the Way

Do you remember when gaming laptops were a niche product? The shipments were not very great but they did produce increased money on each notebook than others. The cost was just too large to justify purchasing these types of laptop computer for the masses. They the the newest technology and just the best laptop computers. Regardless of the buzz caused I do not think they were great sellers because I don’t think purchasers would buy laptop computers as an alternative to desktops as they were so costly. Things appear as it they are set to change though because now the gaming laptops niche has caught the attention of bigger manufacturers.

Gaming laptops are typically not affordable by everybody and established manufacturers know they can exploit the big markup even more with their low fixed costs. Nowadays the standard laptop margins are really tiny so it presents the opportunity for them to retrieve the gross margins. Manufacturers of that sort know they can get buyers to buy laptop computers at any price providing they market it well. I’m pretty confident that local resellers will be forced to drop their prices in order to compete. I think once it becomes mass marketed it will lose some of the desirability. Additionally prospects just seem to trust bigger brands more. With that these notebooks are also considered to be the best laptop computers already, even though they really are not. In my view the unknown resellers should move on this if they’re to prosper. In my point of view being able to specify the components you require could be a deciding factor. People that purchase high spec notebooks will generally look past the gimmicks. If you are purchasing the laptop for playing games then certainly the performance is the first concern.

This is outstanding news from a buyers view. Fresh technology will be available to everyone when prices are pushed lower. Do not hold me to that though because unpredictable thing can happen in the laptop market. Whether notebook prices will decline overall is another topic but the best laptop computers are traditionally expensive. Competition typically makes companies to create improved products and give greater value so that sounds hopeful.

Bird Flu Flies into Canada

Well the deadly Bird Flu strain H5N1 has been found now in wild birds in Canada and it may fly to a city near you very soon. There are two subtypes of Bird Flu viruses, which devastate poultry livestock; Chickens and your Thanks Giving Turkeys and they are the H5s and H7s. The one which people have gotten and is the one, which they are quite concerned it could mutate is the H5N1 virus. This is the one they are worried about, because if it finds a way to change and rapidly spread in human populations then some estimate 150 million people on Planet Earth could die. Of course as the over all population is concerned this is only a fraction of the now 6 billion human beings on the surface of the Planet, meaning the human race will live on.

The birds infected with the H5 subtype may have the H5N1 and that could be a disaster for the provinces of Quebec and Manitoba as well as all the nearby US states, which border them. A variant of the H5N1 could trigger the Bird Flu pandemic, which would be very difficult to stop or control. Many families have in fact been buying fewer chickens in the United States due to all the mass media hype over the impending pandemic, even Tyson Foods is worried, as are poultry growers. Stock in chicken food type companies is down across the industry. Could Bird Flu fly into a neighbor hood near you?

Internet Profits the Smart Way: Let Your Business Fund Itself

Although many Internet marketers spend thousands of dollars on Internet marketing resources before turning a profit, it is certainly not the only way to succeed, and in many cases, not the best way. Here are three levels of investment that will allow your business to fund itself.

Level one-blogs and articles. This is a great way to begin your Internet marketing career. It doesn’t cost you a cent to write articles, or to create your own blog. Here’s the simple way to profit from blogs and articles.

1. Write quality articles related to your topic and submit them to the top twenty article directories, as well as the top twenty ezine article directories. Be sure to follow the submission guidelines of each directory. Add a resource box to the end of each article (see the resource box at the end of this article for an example) that takes readers to your blog.

2. Create quality content for your blog that keeps visitors
coming back again and again. Sprinkle in affiliate links to
websites of products that you recommend. Create a “recommended links” heading at the side of your blog, and add four to seven links to product websites.

Level two-your own website and ezine. Now that you’re pulling in a decent income from articles and blogs, you can re-invest some of that money into a website and your own newsletter. This will likely be somewhere in the $200-300 range.

Now whenever you write an article, you can link to your website, and/or add a link to your ezine sign-up e-mail address. You can even create your own information product at this stage. It’s time to start having some fun! You can also try leveraging your ezine and website capability by starting a viral marketing campaign that starts generating visitors and ultimately more and more sales.

Level three-expanding your marketing efforts. At this point,
maybe you’ve earned a few thousand dollars or more online, and you’re willing to shell out some more cash. Keep your eyes open for more lucrative means of earning money online, and re-invest half of your profits as you go. Perhaps you’d like to start your own Google Adwords campaign, or purchase a more expensive marketing product.

Let me also add a few points that should help you on your way. They will help you to avoid many of the mistakes made by most Internet marketers.

1. Do one thing and do it well. Don’t let anything steal your focus. It’s easy to be enticed by the hundreds of marketing products out there. Determine to set measurable goals and not do anything that prevents you from reaching them.

2. Research your niche. Spend time getting to know people on
Internet marketing forums, and soaking up knowledge like a sponge. This kind of information is not only free, but it’s
priceless! Can you really assign a value to discovering what
mistakes others have made, so that you are able to do what works, and nothing else?

3. Brand yourself. Write articles like crazy. Create informative special reports that are lead-ins to products you are selling or planning to earn commission from. Establish yourself as an authority on a subject. Get your name into the mainstream as quickly as possible, and on as grand a scale as possible.

You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars before becoming
successful in Internet marketing. Take full advantage of the
free resources available on the Web, and you should find
yourself proving the adage “It takes money to make money” false before you know it!

How to Install and Use PhpList

In this article I will explain how to install phpList and how to use this great PHP script. First, let’s answer the question what is phpList good for. PhpList is free script written in PHP which can be used as a newsletter manager. With the double opt-in subscription system you can be sure that your subscribers are really interested in your newsletter.

Web hosting requirements for phpList:

Before you start the installation process, ensure that your web host support PHP and MySQL database and you have at least 10 MB free disk space (more space will be necessary when your newsletter will grow and more data will be stored in MySQL database). PHP version must be at least 4.3.x or higher and MySQL version must be 3.23 or higher. Developers recommend to run this script on Linux servers with Apache Webserver. They highly recommend to run phplist with “safe mode” in PHP off too.

How to install phpList:

Download the *.tgz or *.zip package from developers website. Unpack the archive files using WinZip, Total Commander or similar program. Then upload files in public_html folder to your web host. Edit the lists/config/config.php file and setup variables like Mysql database server (usually localhost), database name (if you have not created the database yet, you should do it through your web hosting control panel), database username and password. Other settings you should leave intact unless you are sure what are you doing. Then point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/lists/admin and follow the instructions on the screen. That is the last step, when done the installation should be finished.

Another and easier solution how to install this PHP script is to sign up for a quality web hosting service which offers pre-installed PHP scripts. Then easily go to your control panel, find the section with pre-installed scripts and select phpList. The installer will do all the job for you. All you need to do is to choose the script you want to install.

How to use phpList:

Login to admin interface and look at configuration functions. From this place you can setup e. g. mailing list url, how often you want to check for a new version, url where users can subscribe and unsubscribe etc. Then check out links under list and user functions. This is the section where you can see and manage current lists, users, eventually import or export users. Under administrator functions it is possible to add, edit or remove administrators and configure attributes for administrators.

The most important section is called message functions — from this place you can send messages to your subscribers. You can choose between HTML format, plain text or combination of plain text and HTML, pick some of the templates, set up criteria (e. g. send email only to users that answered “yes” particular question when they signed up) and other options.

I hope the installation and settings will be easy for your. Anyway if you will have any problem you can visit developers website where is extensive documentation and forum.

For quality hosting with preinstalled scripts including phpList visit Marble Host, web hosting company with 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Why I Prefer Infrared Saunas Over Hot Water Ones

Who should really care about the preference of infrared saunas over hot water saunas? Well, lots of people, including you, of course. In fact, everyone should be concerned. Here’s why…

Hot air interferes with pulmonary function. That is, it makes the exchange of oxygen in the lungs more difficult. Consider how you feel when you walk outside on a very hot dry summer day (like in Texas, where I lived.) It feels like you are “out of breath.” You almost want to gasp for air.

If the air in the sauna were to become saturated or foggy the air inside the lungs would also become saturated and this would interfere with the pulmonary exchange in the lungs. This would trigger a sense of exhaustion.

When the air (or atmosphere) is hot and dry, or steamy and humid, it will feel uncomfortable. That is why great effort is taken to ensure that the humidity and temperature in a sauna are at optimum levels - particularly more so with the hot water sauna.

Infrared saunas heat you first

Hot water saunas heat the air in the chamber. The air then transfers the heat energy to the skin. On the other hand, infrared saunas heat by radiating the heat energy from the infrared sauna heater to the skin. The heat energy actually comes to the skin directly.

Consider this the same way the sun heats the ground (earth) first before the air gets hot. Very little of the sun’s heat warms the air first. Instead the ground heats the air directly above it.

So the “atmosphere” in an infrared sauna is better for your lungs. You breathe easier in an infrared sauna, the heat goes directly to the body while you relax in a more comfortable atmosphere.

Portable saunas that don’t heat your head

There are portable saunas now that optionally does not heat your head. You just get into one of those things and have a seat. Then close the chamber, leaving your head out while you have your thermal therapy for a few minutes.

They have infrared heaters as well so it is quite comfortable inside.

Some people who are used to the traditional saunas say they prefer hot water saunas. It is a matter of nostalgic preference (maybe). But if you are bothered by the potentially clammy atmosphere of the wet sauna, or if you want to experience the deep soothing warmth of far infrared waves, then you won’t bother with the less convenient hot water saunas.

Maybe the biggest “plus” to owning an infrared sauna is that you can easily set it up in your home. No water or pipe attachments, no heavy stones, etc.

The typical enhancements of music players and other gadgetry actually complement the relaxing atmosphere of the infrared sauna. It’s truly a healthy experience that everyone should love to come home to everyday.

Cost Free 12 Month Mobile Contracts

A little understood means of getting a cheap phone is by using a free line rental phone contract. 12 month free deals remain the greatest bargain amongst all of the deals available currently.

The cheapest way to obtain a free line rental phone contract is over the net. As free line rental packages are an obscure promotion it makes sense to make use of a mobile phone comparison site to indentify the most cost effective packages at the time.

In practice a 12 months free line rental contract should not cost a cent to own. Assuming of course the person taking out the contract correctly makes a claim for one hundred perecent cashback by redemption. Rarely is this quite as simple as consumers are told because of the fact that mobile phone sellers introduce a number of sneaky pre-requisites with the small print of free line rental products in order to cut back on the amount of successful claimants.

Free line rental products are simply cashback deals where the value refunded by redemption equals the value paid during the contract. With a 12 month free mobile contract you must remember to pay the cost of the mobile phone as normal for the early months before you are able to get your one hundred percent cash back by redemption. Further on in the contract in the contract you are allowed to to claim all costs of the phone back from the retailer which initially offered you the phone.

Despite the complicated nature of free line rental deals they are legitimate and it is possible to get completely free cell phone for 12 months.

The most serious drawback of free line rental offers is the fact that if ever the vendor go under you have now way to redeem your one hundred percent cash back. 12 month free line rental is innevitably a compromise, as it is can only be obtained on older mobile phones.
