Register for Baby Gifts

Posted in Briefings

If you don’t register for baby stuff you will, I repeat, will end up with a bunch of things that you don’t want or need. If you care about what kind of stuff your baby will be playing with or wearing, then I suggest going with your wife to register. But on the other hand, just let wife know what kind of stuff that you don’t want, and send them out with their girlfriends, They will be more than happy to go. Women just love to shop together. All the other stuff, you really don’t have a say in, and even if you do, there is so much that it will make your head spin around in circles, and eventually fall off. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like how all the baby stuff is so babyish. I would keep all the stuff that is not clothing, neutral or unisex because it will work later when you have more kids. Pick things that you can use for more than one baby, unless you are only going to have one. If you have some friends that have little kids, ask them if they have any baby stuff that they want to get rid of, or let you borrow. You will save tons of money if you do this, as the toys, gear, clothes, and other stuff only last a short time. But you should check the recalls on all used stuff.

eBooks: Marketing Plan for Your eBook

Posted in Books + Authors

You have a great product, like your ebook in your hand. Or you are an
affiliate for some other ebook. Without advertising nobody knows about your product. You should start your advertising campaign as soon as you upload your product details to your website.

Before starting advertising you should develop a marketing plan for
your ebook.

You should clear few criteria yourself before actually starting
advertising.

1. What you are going to sell?

Develop a short description of your ebook. You want to include the benefits
of buying the ebook from you. Benefits should include how your product or
service can improve or help your potential customers.

Write them in short lines and paragraphs with clear space in between.

2. Who are your target audience?

Next determine who your potential customers are. You are selling your
ebook now. What is the subject of your ebook?

Is it childrens fiction story book? Then your target audience would be
children.

If it is about ‘how to have a good retirement plan’ your target audience
would be mem and women over 40.

3. Where are you going to advertise?

Write down a list of advertising resources like search engines, PPC Engines,
ezines, Newsletters, Opt-in lists, banner exchanges etc.

Like the above example, if you are selling childrens story book then you
have to concentrate a little bit more in advertising in childrens sites
like banner exchanges with them or keeping your ebook details in local
childrens stores as pamphlets etc.

4. How much do you want to spend on advertising?

Choose how much money you are going to spend each month. Whether it would
be $50 or $100, but you stick on with it.

If you haven’t seen the expected response then you increase the amount
or change the advertising method.

5. Track your ads constantly:

You should know what is happening to your advertising money. Simple equation
like ‘how much profit I am getting with the expenditure of this budget’.

http://www.webmasters-central.com/wprofits/tracking.shtml

Put some code in your emails when you want to track the response to your
ezine subscription.

Check your weblogs to see the referer after you keeping an advertising
banner on some other site.

If you don’t see the response change your method or ad wording.

Selling Ebooks? Learn How to Make Your Ebook Sell

Posted in Books + Authors

One of the most common questions we get at Ebook Architect is “how much money will I make selling ebooks? Well, like most businesses the answer will depend on many different factors. For example the amount of time you put into the promotion of your ebook will have a direct consequence on sales and market interest in your ebook topic is another important factor. People who are good at picking good ebook topics and promoting their ebooks usually stand to make a lot of money with ebooks.

How Much Money You Ask?

Some Ebook entrepreneurs lose money in the course of a year while some make hundreds of thousands of dollars. More realistically however is somewhere in between these two points. Many ebook authors make between $5,000 and $20,000 a year.

How to Maximize Ebook Sales

The best way to ensure optimum sales is to constantly promote your ebook. This may mean staying in on weekends and staying up late during the week. Some of the best ways to promote your ebook include buying advertising from large advertising portals such as Google and Yahoo, partaking in link exchanges, writing articles for websites and Ezines, building an information dense website and writing great ebook sales pages. Accomplishing all of this is no minor feat. You should expect to be in product development for between 1-6 months and then the promotional aspect may take another 4-12 months. It’s not necessarily an easy job but as stated above the payoff could be substantial.

Worst Case Scenario

Even if you decide half way through the process that ebook entrepreneurship is not your cup of tea, you will still have written an ebook and be selling it online. That makes you an author; congratulations. Not only will you be an author but your ebook may give you some extra pocket change on a monthly basis. If nothing else, it will be a good learning experience. You have nothing to lose, so why not give it a shot?

Writing A Successful Ebook

Posted in Books + Authors

With today’s advanced technology, it has never been any easier for anyone to self-publish their own ebook. What’s more, you can create and market your own ebook (electronic book) for an unbelievably low price. Once you purchase an ebook compiler and create your ebook, you’ll automatically have an entire stock of inventory on hand continuously. In addition, when you begin selling your ebook, you’ll pocket nearly 100% of your profits for each sale.

As you probably know, the Internet is all about information and automation. Internet users want information and they want it right now. That’s why ebooks are considered to be the “perfect” online product. They provide Internet users with the information they desire and can be instantly downloaded.

The key to writing a successful ebook is to write for your potential customer. In other words, you must provide your potential customers with the information they desire. I know, you’re probably thinking, “how on earth do I know what my potential customers want?” Well, there are a number of ways you can learn exactly what they want. For example, visit some online discussion groups in the area of your expertise. Go through all of the posts and read all of the questions. If you see the same questions posted on several groups, then this should give you a good idea as to what your potential customers want. Visit forums, message boards, and newsgroups — subscribe to email discussion lists — visit Amazon.com to see the top selling books and see if you can develop your ebook accordingly.

Once you’ve determined the focus of your ebook, your next step will be to break your subject down into about 10 - 12 different areas. Each area will represent a chapter. For example, if your ebook is focusing on dog grooming, your chapters might look something like this:

Introduction to Dog Grooming Dog Anatomy Medical & Skin Problems Bathing & Brushing techniques Proper use and care of Equipment Clipper & Scissoring techniques Specific Breed Trims Mixed Breed Trims Safe Handling and Restraints Rare Breed Recognition

Once you have created your chapter titles, you can begin writing each individual chapter. When you begin writing, keep in mind, reading on a computer screen is much more difficult than reading from paper. It not only causes eyestrain, but it is also a much slower read. With this in mind, keep your writing to the point and avoid any filler information that really isn’t necessary. Provide your readers with all of the information required for each chapter, but keep it as simple as possible.

Write your text in small blocks and leave a space between each paragraph. Use an easy-to-read font such as Arial or Verdana and use black text on a white background. In addition, make sure you use plenty of white space. White space is the empty space between your paragraphs and around your text. You certainly don’t want to overwhelm your readers with a solid page of black text. Not only does it look bad, but it certainly won’t keep their interest.

It is very important that you do everything you can to make your readers as comfortable as possible. If your text is difficult to read, your readers will not only become frustrated, but it will also make your ebook appear to be unprofessional. Your ebook should be well organized and enable your readers to easily locate important information.

To spice up your ebook’s appearance, you may want to add a colorful border, subject dividers and relevant images. In addition, enlarge your subtitles to enable your readers to easily recognize the beginning of each new section. By adding these extra touches to your ebook, you will not only improve your ebook’s appearance, but it will also keep your reader interested.

Why eBooks Are The Most Overlooked Path To Online Prosperity

Posted in Books + Authors

The ebook revolution is here! The Internet now makes it possible to come up with an idea, turn it into an ebook, distribute it over the Internet, and start making money - all in 30 days or less.

In the offline world, 30 days wouldn’t typically even be long enough to start getting rejection letters back from publishers.

We say this with confidence because we have both gone from book idea to book sales in a matter of weeks - not once, but many times. Between us, we have 10 ebooks currently selling on the Net. Several of our books have brought us five figures in income. Jim holds the record between us with one release that made an astounding $43,000 in 30 days.

Here are two discouraging myths you should be aware of:

Myth #1 - It takes a lot of money to promote an ebook.

Fact: It doesn’t. Despite what anyone says to the contrary, online information publishing is still the fastest, cheapest and easiest way for the “little” guy to earn a nice living online with virtually no risk and very little money (less than $100).

Myth #2: You have to be a writer to make money with ebooks.

Fact: You don’t have to be a “writer” in order to create a best selling ebook - and it often helps if you’re not!

Maybe you’ve heard that ebooks don’t sell. That’s not entirely a myth; in a way, that’s true. What sells in bookstores will generally not sell well on the Internet. Although author J.K. Rowling has sold more than 100 million copies of her “Harry Potter” books worldwide, it’s unlikely she would do well selling her stories in ebook form.

But ebooks sell like hotcakes when they contain PRACTICAL information in ready-to-use form. Not pages of pages of long, flowing prose like you find at Borders and Barnes and Noble. On the Net, people buy step-by-step, cut-to-the-chase information they can use to solve problems in their everyday lives.

eBooks on how to negotiate the best price on a car, how to sell your home without paying a real estate agent, how to build muscle mass quickly, and other narrowly focused topics that solve a problem, are selling VERY well - at this very moment!

Why is this so? Because the main reason people are online in the first place is to find information - 9 times out of 10, according to a landmark survey.

So if you can interest people in extending their search past looking for free information into purchasing an information-rich, well-organized, ready-made SOLUTION to a pressing problem, you can sell ebooks… You can sell a LOT of them.

Jim has sold more than 5,000 ebooks in the last 10 months. David’s publishers have asked him not to reveal how many ebooks he’s sold, but just type his first and last name into Google and you’ll find more than 20,000 Web pages where his name appears. The vast majority of those pages have something to do with one of his ebooks.

One more thing: It doesn’t need to take very long to write an ebook. Why? Because many “book books” are like encyclopedias in prose form - they cover everything imaginable about the topic.

eBooks aren’t like that. They go right to the meat of what people need to know to solve a problem. They have information about everything necessary to solve a problem, but no “filler” information that takes so long to write - and takes readers so long to sift through.

Here are four mistakes ebook authors make that typically reduce or prevent sales:

1. They don’t write to a specific, target audience. The biggest mistake most ebook authors make is they don’t clearly define, identify and visualize who they are selling their ebook to. On the Web, to be successful, you must write to a specific group of people who have specific interests. Make sure that you know exactly who is going to buy your ebook, and where you can find them online.

2. They don’t automate as many of their business activities as possible. Selling ebooks, though it is highly profitable, is not a business where you make hundreds of dollars per sale.

Automate everything you can - credit card processing, ebook delivery, as much technical support as possible.

3. They don’t have a compelling title for their ebook. Use words that convey the benefit of what’s in the ebook, as well as words your audience is familiar with.

A bad title for an ebook: “Online Marketing for Newbies.” A good title for the same ebook: “97 Ways to Promote Your Website - No Experience Required.”

4. They try to cover too much ground. Many ebook authors convey a lot of information but don’t cover anything in-depth. As a result, they never fully explain anything in enough detail to provide any useful value to their readers.

As long as you are aware of these mistakes and put in a little effort to avoid them, your chances of success are VERY high.

So, if you know a lot about something - or even if you don’t - you can put together and market an ebook quickly, and make a lot of money quickly as well. The large traditional publishers may never understand or agree with this, but that’s actually to your benefit. It keeps the playing field level and offers you, the entrepreneurial author, unlimited opportunities for many years to come.

If You Are without a Partner Then a Lovely Escort Will Often Help

Posted in Shopping Mall

Being not married in the city where you find relationships in any pub and disco can be a lonely feeling. I personally know of 3 single friends who go on dates each week and each month they are sad because they are still single. In the capital city of the UK there are a substantial collection of excellent escorts, these terrific escorts are the perfect offering to present to yourself if you are not with a girl.

Escorts in the wonderful city of London are mind-blowing and dainty and have a high education making them first class companions as well as astonishing lovers. The call girls in London are ordinarily more pricey than anyplace else like Glasgow, the reason for this is the escorts tend to be of a higher class.

Escorts have been made famous with the television show Secret Diary with the beautiful Billie Piper. In the tv series the call girl is made out to be glamorous and rich and always looking dainty. The show is a top rated show in the United Kingdom and many lads have seen it and have now booked a working girl. This has helped to fuel the rise in single males feeling much happier and excited about the choice of women a single guy has in London. Looking for an escort then visit Lucy Bond www.lucybond.com.

Your eBook, Your Viral Salesman

Posted in Books + Authors

Ebooks are the wave of the future, and the wave is here now.

It used to be that paper books were king. They were real. You could hold them in your hands, take them anywhere with you, and put them on bookshelves. They have nice covers that (Sometimes) tell you about the books in exciting terms.

When Gutenberg invented printing he brought an entire civilization out of the dark ages.

I love paper books and use them all the time. My wife is a teacher and paper books help her tremendously. Especially useful are picture books with big beautiful informative pictures. I hope these paper books never go away.

Ray Bradbury’s futuristic novel “Fahrenheit 451″ is spooky. In the story the government hires firefighters to burn books. That is scary, burning books so that people cannot have access to them.

Yet burning books has happened historically. An invader burned the great library in Alexandria. And there have been others. They have all been great losses.

In recent years we have been seeing a new form of book, the ebook.

My introduction to the ebook was a few years ago when a discovered the Project Gutenberg web site. Here I found stories that I had read and loved years ago as a boy. Many have been out of print for years.

I also found books by some of my favorite authors that I had not read or even known of. It was a “treasure” web site for me.

And the ebooks could be copied and pasted into Microsoft Word and then printed out. I printed out many of my favorites and read them. I still visit the Project Gutenberg site, and others like it, regularly looking for new treasures.

Here are the web address for Project Gutenberg and five other sites that I like from which you can read or download stories, fiction, and non-fiction.

The Marketing ebook

A couple of years ago I started marketing on the Internet. It wasn’t soon before I discovered the marketing ebook.

The marketing ebooks differed considerably from the Project Gutenberg ebooks.

The Project Gutenberg books were generally all text with not pictures, images, or links. You could read them on the screen or copy them to an edit for reading there or for printing.

The marketing ebooks contained text, images, links to web pages, and navigation controls. And all of the marketing ebooks were new to me.

At first most of the marketing ebooks came in an EXE format. This format delivers the ebook to the reader in one EXE file, which can be opened from windows like a program.

Lately more and more Ebooks are being published in PDF format. To read the PDF format you must have an Adobe reader. Adobe readers can be downloaded free.

The advantages of the EXE format are that you can take HTML code and compile it into an EXE format ebook. It can an offline website. Just about any feature that you can put into a web site can be put into an EXE format ebook. This includes sounds, animated graphics, hyperlinks to other parts of the eBook, and hyperlinks to web pages. There is a tremendous amount of flexibility here.

The advantage of the PDF format is that you can take a text document and very speedily convert it to PDF format. You do not have to create the document in HTML format first. You can have images and hyperlinks to web pages in your PDF ebook. One of the biggest advantages is that PDF format can be read by both windows users and MAC users.

One disadvantage of the EXE format is that MAC users cannot read them. Another disadvantage is that if you want to make your ebook from a Microsoft Word (or other windows editor) you must take the time to add the HTML code to the document. This is not hard, but it can be time consuming. I did this on my first ebook and it took most of a day. Of course, I learnt a lot and the next one would go faster.

A disadvantage of the PDF format is that you cannot put in a lot of the fancy stuff that you can use in the EXE format. This is because you are not using HTML. Thus most PDF format ebooks read more like a traditional book.

With both formats you can have a faire amount of security in your ebook. You can usually disable copy and paste functions if necessary to protect your works. Also, many ebook creation programs allow for registration keys and time limit restrictions.

The marketing ebook has become a very important part of marketing on the Internet.

With the marketing ebook you can present your story in a very effective format and include links to your web sales pages. You can use the traditional “chapter” format that all book readers are used to.

But it doesn’t stop there. In fact, creating a marketing ebook is just the beginning. Your new, humble ebook can become your best salesman.

Ok. You just created your first ebook. It is interesting and informative. Perhaps it has a good story or two in it. And most definitely it has several links back to your web site and to your sales page.

Be sure you have a prominent section in your book telling readers that they are free to give your eBook away. Let them know that they can post it on their site as a free download, that they can use it as a bonus, and that they can bundle it with other products.

Before you send your new creation out to the world, double-check it. Be sure that you have run a spell check and grammar check on it. And be sure that you have tested every link to verify that it goes where it is supposed to go to. If you have obvious errors in your ebook it will reflect on you and the book will be much less valuable to you.

Now post it on your web site and a free download. If you have a list let each of them know about your new ebook.

Your next step will be to post your new ebook to some of the many ebook directories. Many will let you post it for free, or will let you post a link on their site to your ebook. To find eBook directories do a search on “ebook directories”.

Your goal is to get it to as many different places as possible. Some of your readers will help get it to different places. And each place it goes it becomes a new salesman for you. This is now your personal viral marketing system. Once it starts going, you can’t stop it.

While it is not a requirement, it is good if you can create a cover for your ebook. Some sites offer free ebook cover templates. You choose a pattern and add the text. You can also buy cover templates. There are also sites that will, for a fee, create a cover just for you. Statistics have shown that an ebook will be downloaded more when a nice cover is displayed. To find places where you can get covers do a search for “ebook covers” or “free ebook covers”.

The eBook, like the traditional paper book, is here to stay. Paper advertising is here to stay. And the marketing eBook as a viral salesman is here to stay. Don’t overlook or underestimate its worth to you in your online marketing. It can be one of your best marketing tools.
