Launch of an innovative business broadband bundle, offering high-value services including calls to UK and international numbers, has been announced by BT. The bundle has been priced at £30 per month.

The announcement from BT broadband comes after the introduction of new its call packages, named BT One Plan. These packages start from a fixed monthly cost of £5, and offer calling minutes to landlines in the UK, calls to mobile phones in the UK, as well as an international calling facility.

BT has been actively advertising its broadband service and has revealed important statistics on its service and support levels. According to the data, the broadband service under BT Business Broadband is quite reliable with less than 0.01% downtime. In addition, BT boasts of quick response to problems with just a four-hour period required for solving nine out of ten issues with its service.

The new broadband bundle offers a customisable package to BT’s business customers, who can choose from various fixed calling, mobile, and broadband options, and create their personal package instead of signing for every service independently. This helps in saving the total cost for the customers.

Another useful feature of the bundle is that there will be a single bill for all the services in BT Business One Plan and a single number for all enquires. BT has also claimed that 95% of calls to its customer service help desk in the UK, which is open 24 hours on all days, are answered within half a minute.

Bill Murphy, MD of BT Business, commented on the importance of maintaining cash flow in these troublesome times at the launch of the new package. He said that with the new offering, businesses can benefit by choosing services according to what they need and paying for only one fixed cost package.
